actress | filmmaker
Hi! I'm Suzanne. Authentic storytelling that creates joy, empathy, and community is very important to me, and it’s my motivating force for being an actress and filmmaker.
Recently, I wrapped production on the upcoming feature thriller Hostage. I play opposite the star of the film, William Moseley (the Narnia films), as his wife who begins to see through his double life as he runs for governor. I also recently completed production on a dark comedy short film that I co-wrote and star in called Pencils Down, directed by Karen Maine (Nobody Wants This, Yes, God, Yes).
My first directorial effort, short film Christmas Eve Eve: Or The Things I Can’t Remember (which I also wrote and star in) played at a number of festivals including the 2021 Mill Valley Film Festival. You can watch it here on the platform Omeleto, one of the best hubs for high-quality short films on the internet. Currently, I’m in the process of expanding the short into a feature film. I produced my first feature film Every Man For Himself, directed by Gary Gardner and starring Daniel Sharman and Nicholas Logan, which had its world premiere at Cinequest Film Festival in 2023.
As an actress, I’m best known for my role in HBO's Silicon Valley as Fiona, an AI robot who infiltrates the Pied Piper gang. My first leading role in a feature film, The Desiring, recently premiered on Apple TV and many other VOD platforms. I’ve also been in the NBC TV show Blindspot, and the films Ricki and the Flash (dir. by Jonathan Demme), and Obvious Child (dir. by Gillian Robespierre).
A Kentucky native, I received my BA in Theatre from Davidson College in North Carolina. I've spent time studying abroad with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the British American Drama Academy in London. In NYC, I've studied improv comedy and sketch writing with the Upright Citizens Brigade and scene study with Scott Freeman, Reed Birney, and Maria Dizzia at The Freeman Studio.
I’m happy you’re here!
